IPO Allotment क्या होता है?
जब किसी कंपनी का IPO आता है और investors उसमें shares खरीदने के लिए Apply करते हैं, तो सभी applicants को shares मिलना जरूरी नहीं होता।
IPO की आवेदन प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद उपलब्ध shares को निर्धारित नियमों और संबंधित investor category के अनुसार applicants को allocate किया जाता है। इसी प्रक्रिया को IPO Allotment कहा जाता है।
सरल भाषा में:
IPO में Apply किया → IPO बंद हुआ → Allotment Process हुआ → Shares मिले या नहीं मिले।

अगर IPO में applications उपलब्ध shares से बहुत ज्यादा हो जाते हैं, तो IPO Oversubscribed हो जाता है।
उदाहरण के लिए, अगर Retail category में 1 लाख shares उपलब्ध हैं लेकिन investors ने 5 लाख shares के लिए आवेदन किया, तो सभी investors को shares मिलना संभव नहीं होगा।

IPO की timeline में आमतौर पर ये प्रमुख stages होती हैं:
IPO Open → IPO Close → Basis of Allotment → Refund/Unblocking → Shares Credit → Listing
हर IPO की exact dates अलग होती हैं।

IPO Allotment Status कैसे Check करें?
IPO का allotment status आमतौर पर संबंधित Registrar की website के जरिए check किया जा सकता है।
इसके अलावा कुछ IPOs के लिए stock exchange की website पर भी allotment से संबंधित जानकारी उपलब्ध हो सकती है।
Status check करने के लिए सामान्यतः आपको इनमें से कुछ details की जरूरत पड़ सकती है:
- PAN Number
- Application Number
- Demat Account details

IPO Allotment Status में क्या दिखाई देता है?
अगर आपको shares allot हुए हैं तो status में allotted quantity दिखाई दे सकती है।

Allotted: 1 Lot
इसका मतलब है कि आपके application के अनुसार आपको 1 lot के shares मिले हैं।
अगर shares allot नहीं हुए तो status में Not Allotted जैसा result दिखाई दे सकता है।
अगर IPO Allot नहीं हुआ तो क्या होगा?
अगर आपको IPO में shares नहीं मिलते हैं, तो आपके application से संबंधित blocked amount को release/unblock किया जाता है।
UPI application में कई बार पैसा आपके bank account में पहले से blocked रहता है और allotment के बाद संबंधित amount unblock हो जाता है।
ध्यान रखें कि actual timing bank, intermediary और IPO process के अनुसार अलग हो सकती है।
अगर IPO Allot हो गया तो क्या होगा?
अगर shares allot हो जाते हैं, तो allotted shares आपके linked Demat Account में credit किए जाते हैं।
इसके बाद IPO की Listing Date पर shares Stock Exchange पर list होते हैं और market में उनकी खरीद-बिक्री शुरू हो सकती है।

इन दोनों को एक जैसा नहीं समझना चाहिए।
IPO Allotment
इसका मतलब है कि IPO में आपको shares मिले या नहीं मिले।
IPO Listing
इसका मतलब है कि IPO के shares Stock Exchange पर officially list होकर trading के लिए उपलब्ध हो गए।
यानी:
Allotment = Shares मिले या नहीं
Listing = Shares Stock Exchange पर कब trade होंगे
IPO में Allotment मिलने की Guarantee होती है?
नहीं।
IPO में Apply करने का मतलब यह नहीं है कि आपको shares जरूर मिलेंगे।
अगर IPO heavily oversubscribed है, तो कई applicants को shares नहीं मिल सकते।
इसलिए IPO में Apply करते समय यह मानकर न चलें कि shares निश्चित रूप से मिलेंगे।
IPO Allotment के बाद क्या करें?
अगर आपको shares allot हो गए हैं तो सबसे पहले अपने Demat Account में shares की entry check करें।
इसके बाद Listing के समय market price देखकर अपने investment decision के अनुसार आगे की strategy तय की जा सकती है।
Listing Gain की कोई guarantee नहीं होती, इसलिए सिर्फ allotment मिलने को profit की guarantee न समझें।
